On March 20, 2018, Winnie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at home with her family by her side. Winnie’s life was miserable at first as she originally came from a puppy mill, but all that changed when she was rescued and adopted by us. Winnie’s timid, shy and fearful nature changed under our nurturing care, and blossomed into a loving, sweet, gentle, happy, friendly and playful dog. However, throughout Winnie’s life she still struggled with various conditions and allergies, and finally succumbed to gastrointestinal lymphoma cancer. She declined rapidly, and we decided to euthanise her so she would not suffer further pain and stress and would be able to rest in peace. We say goodbye today knowing Winnie enjoyed a good 7 years with us. We will miss Winnie very much, but she will be forever in our hearts. With love and kisses until we meet again my sweet angel. Your loving owners Kit and Cliff Watson.
